The Silence Broken

Music is my lifeblood when spending countless hours at my drawing board working on a new piece, or at my computer editing photo shoots or updating my site. Much of that time has been spent co-creating with my son John, as he works on new material for his band, The Silence Broken. As well as being a fan, and a proud Mom - I also do photography for the band, which has taken me out of my "natural" environment and given me another creative outlet. Diamond D Acres

Friends Howard and Shelly Daggs recently realized a life long dream of breeding Appaloosa horses. They acquired the remainder of Magic Meadows New York herd after Joan Pool's passing in August, 2006. Howard and Shelly plan on continuing the breeding program that Joan dedicated nearly fifty years to.

Shelly has graciously allowed me to spend many hours photographing her herd, the results of which can be found here on the site. They are a delightful group of horses to be around.
